Lentil soup served with bread

This lentil soup is a rich and good lentil soup suitable for a quick warm meal that cures everything reminiscent of gruff!


  1. 4 pcs of normal size carrots
  2. 2 pcs of potatoes
  3. 2 stalks of celery sticks
  4. 1pc o onion
  5. 2 gloves of fresh garlic
  6. 2tbsp of cooking oil
  7. tomato paste
  8. 1tsp of paprika spice
  9. 180g of red lentils
  10. 1tsp of salt
  11. 20g of finely chopped parsley


  1. Wash, and cut the carrot, potatoes into pieces. Coarsely chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Fry the onion until shiny. Add the garlic for the last 30 seconds. Add tomato paste, paprika powder and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Turn in the carrot, potato, and fry for approximately 1 minute until everything is well covered by the tomato paste. Pour in vegetable broth, bring to a boil and let it simmer for approximately 15-20 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Finally, add the lentils and let them warm through.
  4. Find a hand mixer or blender and run the soup to a "chunky" consistency. Pour back into the pan, heat up and season with salt and pepper.

    Serve the warm lentil soup with bread. Top with finely chopped parsley.
